ReachMiami, Inc., its subsidiaries, and affiliates, to fully support the principles of Fair Housing, including, but not limited to 1) the Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968), as amended, which generally prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability) and 2) the Canadian Fair Housing Act, a federal statute that prohibits discrimination in the sale or rental of housing, as well as in residential real-estate related transactions such as advertising, mortgage lending, homeowner’s insurance, and zoning. The law makes it unlawful to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, and familial status.
